How we handle the details you share when you book.
We keep this short because there is not much to it.
When you message us to book, we keep your name, your phone number and the dates you asked about. That is what we need to hold a date and to reach you about your stay, and it is the only reason we keep it.
We do not sell your details. We do not pass them to anyone else. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for.
The first time you open this website, a banner asks what you allow. Reject all and Accept all sit side by side and are the same size, and Manage preferences lets you choose one kind at a time. There are three kinds:
Necessary, always on. The only thing kept is your answer to the banner, stored in your own browser so we do not ask again on every page.
Analytics, off until you allow it. Google Analytics tells us which pages people actually read. It sets its own cookies on this site (their names start with _ga) and runs with Google’s advertising features switched off. Google Analytics does not store IP addresses.
Advertising, off until you allow it. The Meta pixel lets us tell whether our Instagram posts bring anyone here. It sets a cookie named _fbp. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, this stays off whatever you choose.
Neither tool ever sees your name or your phone number. Nothing is loaded and no request is made to Google or Meta until you allow that kind of cookie; if you choose Reject all, or simply ignore the banner, neither runs at all.
Changing your mind. Use Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page, including this one. Switching a kind off stops that tool straight away and deletes the cookies it set on this site. Clearing this site’s data in your browser also brings the banner back.
The fonts and the map on this site are served from our own server or loaded only when you scroll to them, so no third party is contacted just because you opened the page.
Send us a message and we will delete them. No form, no process.
